Volunteers provided humanitarian aid to the village in Kharkiv region under daily shelling

On Wednesday, February 8, Lutsk volunteers from the Civic Movement «Svidomi» Mykhailo Nakhod and editor-in-chief of News Agency «Konkurent», deputy of Lutsk Сity Council Andrii Luchyk, brought «family packages» for the residents of the Prykolotne village in the Vilkhuvat community of Kharkiv region, located 10 kilometers from the border with russia.

«Family packages» were provided by the US non-profit organization charitable foundation Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), which has been helping Ukrainians since the first days of the full-scale invasion. Michael Capponi, a humanitarian leader and founder of Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), has recently given a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos. During his speech, the key concepts of humanitarian aid in Ukraine were highlighted.

Volunteer, deputy of the Lutsk City Council from the political party Civic Movement «Svidomi» Mykhailo Nakhod wrote about it on his Facebook page.

In addition, sweet gifts and toys were brought for the children living there.

Volunteers note that local people, who lived under occupation for six months, and after liberation are still in constant danger because they are near the places of constant shelling by the occupier.

«We are grateful to our American friends from Global Empowerment Mission and their partners for their permanent support of our humanitarian mission! Special thanks to our friends from Ukrainehilfe Westerstede e.V from Germany for “continuing” the New Year holidays for children! It is pleasant that despite the difficulties, life is getting better here, and the Ukrainian spirit is being established. Yevhen Shapoval, the head of Vilkhuvat Village Military Administration, is doing an incredible job for this. We're moving on. Everything will be Ukraine!» – wrote Mykhailo Nakhod.
