The parties reportedly discussed, among other things, the urgency of further support for Ukraine.

Scholz assured that he and President Biden are united in their desire to continue to provide financial, humanitarian, and military support to Ukraine.

A similar statement was released by the White House, saying that the leaders had coordinated further unwavering support for Ukraine in its war against Russia.

The publication notes that the conversation took place while the US Congress and the EU were slowing down the decision on further multibillion-dollar aid to Ukraine.
