Ukraine's Intelligence: Russia conducts reconnaissance of Ukrainian energy facilities

Russian invaders are conducting reconnaissance of Ukrainian energy facilities with the intention of launching further attacks, and the Defense Forces are intensively preparing for such aggressor actions. This was disclosed by Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

"Including information that the enemy is conducting reconnaissance activities concerning the energy infrastructure, and the threat of terrorist attacks repeating exists," he stated.

Yusov emphasized that Ukraine is actively preparing for such a scenario and stressed that one should not expect the aggressor country to abandon its plans to target the energy sector.

"We must take this seriously, both as average citizens in terms of readiness for this period and simply reacting to air raid signals, as well as, of course, the Defense Forces. This work is being carried out!" emphasized the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate.

Yusov also pointed out that Russia's current pace of missile production does not allow it to replenish its reserves at previous levels.

"One thing is the plans, another is how these plans are implemented," he underscored.

He reminded of the most massive attack by Russians when they simultaneously launched 120 missiles at Ukraine. Currently, the occupiers may not be capable of such an act, but the threat remains.

"No matter how many of those missiles there are, they must be intercepted. And work will be carried out on this," stated the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
