The Pentagon calls the actions of Ukrainians on the battlefield "extremely effective"

The Pentagon considers the actions of Ukrainian forces on the battlefield to be extremely effective and positively assesses the results of the use of Western weapons by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was stated during a briefing by Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of Defense Sabrina Singh.

"Ukrainians are extremely effective on the battlefield. We see some progress already made in their counteroffensive. We are seeing how they (the Ukrainian military - ed.) are using cluster munitions and in what places. We believe they are using them effectively and responsibly."

The Pentagon spokeswoman also noted that Ukrainian defenders are skillfully using the capabilities of long-range Storm Shadow missiles and their analogs provided by Western allies. At the same time, she refused to comment on the prospects of providing Ukraine with US ATACMS missiles.
