Global Empowerment Mission actively helps Ukrainians in Sumy region
The American charitable organization Global Empowerment Mission, founded by Michael Capponi, has been helping Ukraine since the first day of the full-scale war in the country. Every day they continue their missions to different parts of Ukraine.
The official Facebook page of the Okhtyrka City Council wrote that GEM helps and supports the residents of the Okhtyrka community.
«We express our sincere gratitude to the Global Empowerment Mission Ukraine charitable foundation and directly to the founder of the foundation Michael Capponi for helping our residents and supporting them! Everything will be Ukraine!»
GEM representative Yevhen Piatak also wrote about this on his Facebook page. He wrote that the organization is proud to be with people who need support.
Among the humanitarian aid, the volunteers delivered family kits. These are kits that mainly contain food and water, but there are also hygiene items, some clothes, and socks.
The Family Kits program has been fully funded by The Howard G. Buffett Foundation.
