Russia hits a high-rise building with missiles: a block of the building is destroyed, and dozens of people are killed

On the night of Friday, April 28, Russia carried out a new massive attack on Ukrainian cities. In particular, a missile hit a residential high-rise in Uman.

The attack killed at least 20 people, including a child. 

"Rescuers have pulled out two more bodies from the rubble, bringing the total to 17 civilians killed by Russians in Uman. The rescue operation continues. This is a terrible tragedy for the entire Cherkasy region. We are announcing three days of mourning in the region," wrote the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.

Commenting on the night attack, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that the terrorists targeted civilians and objects and promised that no occupier would be able to escape punishment.
