Volunteers show how a frontline village in Donetsk Oblast lives

Shots, sounds of explosions, traces of airplanes – these are the realities described by residents of Rozlyv village in Donetsk Oblast. They say there is no work in the frontline villages, so they are very happy to see humanitarian missions. Volunteers of the CIVIC MOVEMENT «SVIDOMІ» also came to support the civilians.

Taras Shkiter, the head of the SVIDOMI civil movement, said that they came with a volunteer mission and delivered the aid that the locals needed. The volunteers did not ignore the military men and women.

«Together with the American Foundation, our team is engaged in volunteer work, and we have brought you humanitarian aid. I hope you need it,» says Taras Shkiter.

Together they delivered family packages and sweet gifts for children from German and Polish partners. The volunteers also delivered aid at the request of the military, who are holding the line in the hottest areas of Donetsk region. 

Mykhaylo Nakhod said that they provided the necessary equipment to their countrymen from Volyn who are now defending our country.

«Technical equipment, long-lasting food, stretchers for evacuating the wounded, power banks and other things necessary for the military,» said the Mykhaylo Nakhod.

The project «Ukraine: realities» is implemented by the News agency «Konkurent» together with the Civic Movement «SVIDOMI» and the charity organization Global Empowerment Mission in English for readers from other countries to tell the stories of people who survived the horrors of the Russian occupation.
