American philanthropist met with the Ukrainian ambassador

American philanthropist and leader of the charity foundation Global Empowerment Mission, Michael Capponi, met with the Ukrainian ambassador Oksana Markarova.

During the meeting, the Ukrainian ambassador shared an interesting story related to the Forrest-Marburry House in Georgetown, where the Ukrainian embassy is located. In 1791, General Marburry hosted George Washington for dinner at this house, during which the decision was made to make Washington the new capital. The house was built in 1788 and is one of the historical landmarks of the United States.

The Director of Operations Global Empowerment Mission Ukraine, Andrii Negrych, commented on the meeting on his page:

"Our foundation's diplomatic relations with Ukraine are strengthening. We have always sought transparency and efficiency in international cooperation. Such dialogues will help us build even clearer cooperation in the future to support the country."
