The volunteers reported on 2 months of work towards victory

The volunteer team of the Civic Movement "SVIDOMI" reports on the work done during two winter months of 2023.

The Civic Movement "SVIDOMI" is a non-governmental organization located in Lutsk, Volyn region. The organization has been implementing social, cultural, and youth projects in the city for years. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, "SVIDOMI" has been involved in humanitarian work, providing assistance to civilians in the occupied territories, military personnel, and internally displaced persons.
Currently, the Civic Movement "SVIDOMI" is actively cooperating with the American charity foundation Global Empowerment Mission (GEM). In this article, you can read an interview with the Director of Operations Global Empowerment Mission Ukraine, Andriy Negrych, where he talks about a year of volunteer work in Ukraine and the horrors of the consequences of the russian occupation that he saw with his own eyes.

The report was published on the Facebook page of Taras Shkiter, the head of the Civil Movement "SVIDOMI".

"This year, our volunteer team from the Civil Movement "SVIDOMI" worked in Kharkiv region, just 10 kilometers away from the border with russia. Together with our American partners from Global Empowerment Mission, we delivered family kits to people who still hear the constant whistling of enemy shells nearby," he wrote.

Shkiter noted that "SVIDOMI" volunteers constantly mobilize and send aid to servicemen from various units and on different fronts.

During January-February, the Lutsk volunteers delivered the following types of aid to Ukrainian defenders who are at the forefront: energy bars, wet wipes, sleeping mats, socks, sleeping bags, load-bearing vests, tactical gloves, tourniquets, first aid kits, bandages, raincoats, instant soups, dried soups, coffee, tea, canned goods, medical supplies.

Volunteers from the Civic Movement "SVIDOMI" constantly support the military garrison hospital in Lutsk. During the two winter months, they sent water, popcorn, sweet crackers, coffee, tea, and quick breakfasts there several times.

"Our organization also cooperates with other volunteer and charitable organizations from Volyn and other regions of Ukraine that help both military and civilians affected by the war," added Taras Shkiter.
