Ukraine ends heating season with surplus capacity, says Energy Minister

During an expanded meeting of the congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine, Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko reported that Ukraine is ending the heating season with a surplus of capacity, as well as sufficient reserves of gas and coal. Despite Russia's scare tactics about the possibility of Ukraine and the West freezing in winter without their gas, Ukraine has managed to ensure its fuel supply.

"We are emerging from a difficult winter fully provided with fuel – as of February 3, coal reserves at TPP and CHP warehouses amount to 1,160 thousand tons. This is 375 thousand tons more than on the same date last year. Natural gas reserves in underground storage facilities in Ukraine amount to 9.7 billion cubic meters (about the same as last year's volumes)," said Halushchenko.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was mocked in India for his lies

Lavrov was speaking on a separate panel at the Raisina Dialogue – the main Indian conference on geopolitics and geo-economics. He was ridiculed during his speech when he stated that Russia wants to stop the war in Ukraine.

"The war we are trying to stop, which was started against us using Ukrainians," – the attendees in the hall laughed at this phrase – after a brief pause, Lavrov continued: "has affected Russia's policy, including energy. A bright example of change – we no longer rely on any partnerships in the West."

The video was posted on his Facebook page by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oleh Nikolenko.

Russia planned to build a torture chamber in the occupied Ukrainian territories, according to international lawyers

On the occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russians have created a network of at least 20 torture chambers that are part of a thought-out Russian strategy to destroy Ukrainian identity, according to Ukrainian and international lawyers. Such torture chambers were operating, in particular, in Kherson. It is reported that the investigation by lawyers has revealed that Russian forces in several occupied areas were following a very specific plan, with clear patterns indicating a general plan of occupation of Ukraine by Moscow.
